That is a good quote. I actually reviewed two different documentaries involving George Washington Carver, but never stumbled upon those words. That’s fascinating. I do have to give some of my elementary school teachers credit since he was one of the few Black inventors I did hear about even if it was only because of peanut butter, but I was unaware for years of his other innovations.
